Their defense is playing better and the offense is balanced.

Yep. I'd wager this is the top for almost all of the schools retaining coaches. Seems to always work that way. This may bankrupt Ole Miss as soon as he stubs his toe slightly. Quite a bit of luck involved this year with the Ferris State QB being the absolute goods.

They will if he stays, but won't stack enough to win it all.  And I doubt they can sustain the NIL spending over time...a big reason he will leave.  Lane knows the financial limitations.  Paying him more is only going to pull more away from player payroll.  They are already running a deficit in athletics.

True.  But Ole Miss is making the 12 team playoff this year.  Has won 10 games in multiple years under Kiffen.  I think he is showing Ole Miss can win a title just as much as LSU.

Judas Kutas had a decent pulling block today.  Granted he got smoked by the guy he was blocking but at least got in the way.

I agree on all points.  We go to Oxford at least 6 times a year for travel baseball.  It is a nice town and you can get a statue built for winning 10 games a year there, or go to LSU and get kicked out the door for winning 8 in year 3.

My thoughts too.  I've lived in Oxford and spent a summer in Baton Rouge.  I'd take Oxford 100 out of 100 times.
