Saban says the SEC winner should be in the playoffs.  Let's see – if Georgia wins they're undefeated and automatically in.  So if there are three other undefeateds (Michigan, Fla. St., and Washington are likely), Saban's really saying "if Alabama wins we should leap Texas who beat us."  Such a courageous position.

This is the time of year where Saban ratchets up up the marketing campaign.

Bo Nix throws a very unorthodox ball about half the time, or maybe it's the offense. He throws very quickly to a spot, and puts a lot of air under the ball. The receiver wasn't anywhere near there when the pass was thrown, but he ends up running to that spot. It just looks different from other offenses, and other passes.
