His backup was 4/8 for 21 yds, 2.6 avg, 1 fumble, and a 6.5 QBR.

Some really terrible coaching decisions by both teams in this one. Ndsu is driving mid 4th quarter down 4 and their qb is ripping off 8-15 yard runs. For some reason they decide to kill that drive by putting their "short yardage" qb in on 3rd and 2 to pass the ball.

Cut to Colorado's final possession of the game where they pick up a first down and have the ability to run the clock out. What do they do? Immediately launch an incomplete pass downfield on first down with 1:30 left.

The clock mismanagement and game mismanagement from some of these coaches is mind boggling.
