Green is the kind of QB he wants these days. His playbook is basically what he's been running since Louisville part 2 with Lamar Jackson. I don't remember where but I saw someone break it down where he passes vs zone defense, and runs vs man defense (when the QB is unaccounted for). Back in the day, his offenses struggled against physical man defenses, but once he incorporated zone reads and a mobile QB, he (theoretically) can run whatever he wants now.

It didn't start with Lamar Jackson. The reason he went to the falcons was to coach a mobile qb.

I enjoy it greatly when Auburn stumbles into the depths of the SEC, even more so when we've beaten them putting them there. The only sad thing is their leadership will quickly make a change where ours will typically stick by a coach for too long because of "optics" or shitty contracts by shitty ADs.

Oh and that Hawkins kid for OU is getting the start and he looks shorter than Kyler Murray even though he's listed at 6-1. Side by side Jackson Arnold also listed at 6-1 looked noticeably taller. Anyway OU seems to cycle thru QBs so fast it messes you up. Dillon Gabriel is lighting it up at Oregon these days.

McMurphy messed up the quote. The kid's instagram says "representations." Basically said they aren't paying him like they promised when they recruited him.

It's a bad situation for Odom and UNLV given the season they're having, but unfortunately this is going to become more of the norm in college football. It's basically upping the ante from bowl game opt-outs.

If he's a senior now then he cannot afford to waste his last season on a program that isn't gonna pay him. He's showed enough to maybe get a 1 mil deal at a P5 next season. The shitty thing is he's probably got people in his ear telling him to hold out so he can get a fat deal...probably schools like Auburn already talking to him.

Well in the games I've seen he's being asked to run a lot more than pass. Also they've been going against decent competition relative to their league so I'd expect his numbers to go up and not down going against weaker competition from their own league. Not sure about being pushed by some other QB on the roster...that's a possibility but I haven't noticed them playing anyone else.
