From now on the SEC should just be guaranteed 4 spots minimum in the bracket.  Clemson is the only ACC team that might be built to play with the big boys.  Big 10 should have only gotten Oregon and Ohio State in, at best.  Reduce the field to 8 teams and let the Big 12 try to get someone in.  Group of 5 - no.

It has always been about putting the SEC in the most disadvantaged situation.   I have always believed that the playoffs were not considered because they knew the SEC would dominate.  But, they figured out how to still game the system even with a playoff system.

There should be no auto bids, much less byes for conference champs. Just pick the 12 best teams and seed them 1-12.

Current formula sucked.  Has to be scrapped.

They have to figure out the conf championships in the mix I think.  Those games need to mean something.  Those champs should be the four byes or top seeds.  The losers go to the pot to be seeded for the at large games. The sos has to be recalculated.

I really think the thing won't change and the committee will continue to fuck the sec how they can to elevate their own biases. 

So the sec and big10 can say fuck it and make their own playoffs.  4 teams each, so 8> 4>2.  Mix em up.  That's 7 games and that will make big money as no one gives a shit about the other conferences.

They don't? I thought if the 7 beats the 2 in the first round then the 1 seed would play the 7 instead of the 4.
