The coaching gig would have to be further away where he would have to sell his house and move. Then, he would have a decision to make.

The problem with that scenario is if he took the job at UAPB, we would almost certainly still owe the vast majority of the buyout.

Sam ain't working no five more years just to collect a little extra cash. 

He can get $10 million and retire to the lake and enjoy life.  Or he can get $15 million but have to work another five years, NOT BE THE BOSS, put in 15 hour days, and get to go to the lake when he is pushing 70.  Nah, he is getting out this year or maybe one more year at Arkansas.  But he ain't going back to being an offensive line coach just to make a little extra cash.

It makes a lot of sense.  If Sam gets fired, we will see if his agent works for him or if it's the other way around.
