Yep.  Definitely not my first choice but I don't want him to fail. If he does we'll be back here again in in 3 or 4 years with hopefully a more competent AD making the decision.

The not having a spring portal thing he talked about was good I thought. Basically saying this is what we got. We know that, they know that. Coaches know they have to coach em up because they can't just swap out one L for another unknown player. So you better turn that guy into something. It idk...going to force everyone to commit to the system and not be looking for an off-ramp. 

Beyond that he was very non-committal on anything else just saying everything is wide open and why shouldn't it be? This isn't a Sugar bowl team returning 65% of the roster. Nobody is owed anything. 

Oh and I didn't bother to follow who we signed...am not at all excited to see the Razorbacks football team, probably won't even watch the games until I'm given a reason to give a fuck. Sorry not sorry. Hope it works out.

I'm in the it's upgrade from the "I don't know crowd" but also thought we could have done better. But, nonetheless, I'm going to root for him and the hogs to have success and hope I'm wrong in thinking that we're likely repeating this in 3-5 years.

He seems to be saying the right things and willing to adjust his philosophy to fit his personnel. I think any coach at Arkansas is going to have to be willing to adopt something like that since we're not getting the blue chips.

Funny name for sure but one of the greatest resorts I've ever stayed at.  Definitely not all-inclusive.  Would definitely go back.
