Cal and Tyson courtside at Mavs/Thunder tonight. Mavs blew it. Luka is already a HOFer but he needs to get in shape if he wants to be truly great.

I think he is pretty banged up.  But, yeah he looks and plays like some 50 year old dude at one of the pick-up games in the HYPER.

Yeah Jokic just has them completely figured out now. Even with a three time defensive poty at center the Wolves still have no answer for him. If Gobert is on him he just goes right at him and scores.

I haven't seen significant minutes of any nba game since Jordan played. Just not a fan. But I watched the 3 and 4 quarters of this game. The speed of the game was insanely fast. I dont remember it being like this back then.
Was it just this game or because it's semifinals or is this the nature of the game now? The level of play was frenetic. I could watch this!

I'm kind of in the same boat.  These playoffs are the first time I've watched since Dirk was playing for Dallas.  It's fun.  I can see what Muss was trying to do but it was never going to work consistently.  First the officiating is entirely different in the NBA and most importantly every single player in the floor can score if he needs to and make something happen.  We just didn't have enough scorers and shooters for that to work.

that's been the pace of the games for the last few years.

the traditional positions (guards, center, forward) that most of us grew up with has pretty much become blurred. you have to be able to run, have some handles, and get your own shot in today's game.

I didn't watch any of that Nuggets/Wolves series and may be proven wrong but that to me was the NBA Finals. The rest of these games are just for show.

I don't see the Mavs beating the Wolves. 

Celtics vs Pacers...I don't count the Pacers out but feel like we're headed for a Celtics vs Wolves finals.

I think the Nuggets coach fucked up by not resting Jovic while they were up 20.  He was gassed in the 4th.
