After 47 seasons, the Nuggets finally make the Finals. I'm glad it was the Lakers we swept out after all the times they've beat us in the playoffs.

One thing is for sure...Lebron in year 20 is/was still a damn fine player. He just didn't have a surrounding cast to get him another "chip" and the ship may have sailed.

I believe he's got one more season in him and it may be that the Lakers try to shake things up and go get some major help for him. Might mean they have to move AD.

The biggest thing is keeping him going thru a long season. My guess is Lebron fake retires and comes back after the all star break if the Lakers look like a major contender. If he's a free agent maybe he holds out till all star break and signs with whomever is the best fit.

I do believe the idea of a superteam consisting of mainly old vets is kind of an out dated thing. The teams still standing are young groups with guys that mainly play well together. Lebron hasn't had that type of cast since Wade and Bosh.

I gather he was asked about that and said something like "That was my dream but may not be his dream and that's ok". He's sounding kinda done but I figure he will hang on for another year or so. He's still playing too good to just hang it up but his championship days may be over and to somebody like that what else is there to play for?

I don't even like the NBA, but I wandered over there and what a hell of a finish tonight.

Not only did Boston shoot 21% from 3 point land tonight, they did it in a spectacular 9 out of 42 attempts.  They started 0 of 10.
To quote Shaq in the post-game comments, if you are 0 for 10 and you keep shooting, I'm going to punch you in the throat.
