Neither of us are there yet. We both have to get by the first game. Then they can worry if we both get there. I will wait until we get by Illinois before worrying about KU. My angst will be reserved until then.

That KY / Providence game should be interesting. Cooley is a damn good coach. One of Providence's best players is a KY transfer.

I suppose me being a fan of a program that has had lean times and would love to get any post season bid makes me not like this very much.  Seems more opportunities for your fans combined with a potential trip to New Orleans would be a positive, coupled with the extra playing time for some of your underclassmen.  It reeks of an elitist, kind of rude and shitty snobbery.

But what do I know?  I'm a "have not" I suppose...

Well, I disagree with that, two games won't make a good coaching season after the regular we've had. Another Elite Eight might. Final Four for sure.

I tend to agree with this, but it doesn't matter.  I just hope we beat Illinois.

Who on this team has improved greatly from the start of the season? Maybe Walsh. Well certainly Devo. I can't think of another player on this roster that you can really say that about and that to me = shit coaching/bad roster management something. We phoned it in when Brazile and NSJ went down or these kids just aren't taking the coaching.

That being said...sure I'll be amazed if he can get this bunch of daisy's to the Sweet 16.

Compare to last season...by this time of the season older guys like Umude and Wade had improved as players understood their roles. I'm sure there were others.

I thought that was a team they might match us up with in a 8/9 game due to regionality/history.  I wouldn't want to play that team right now.  They've been hot.
