The talking heads were all yakking about the call. They didn't mention the guy got beaten off the dribble and was beside and a little behind the shooter. Bad defense.

Yeah Barkley and Smith were pissed. I agree that you let players decide the game but that was clearly a foul that changed his shot. Like you said...bad D.

Not a Creighton fan but they got robbed.  It was a foul, but unless the shooter gets clobbered you just can't call a foul with no time left in a tie ballgame.

Agree on the .02, but not the foul.  It should have been called.  Definitely affected the shot.  If that happened to us and it wasn't called, you would be arguing otherwise.

I do wonder why some bigger basketball programs haven't made a run at McDermott.  I think he is a good coach.

I do wonder why some bigger basketball programs haven't made a run at McDermott.  I think he is a good coach.

he is but most are hesitant because he struggled in the power 5 at Iowa state  - not having a winning record in his 4 seasons there.
He's not a win the press conference type coach which it seems most of the ADs today want.

I had forgotten all about his experience at Iowa State.  But that has to be a tough place to be a basketball coach too.
