Maybe they just recognized that Arkansas v. Missouri isn't a rivalry game no matter how hard the SEC brass wants it to be.

Someone could have shot somebody out on the field in our game and it would have barely made the news. The SEC has fucked us so hard it's unreal. As someone on X suggested it would be real simple to stick us with LSU and them with OU and problem solved.

BUT we shouldn't be bitching about getting what should be a very winnable league game on the schedule every season. That's how far we've fallen...we're bitching about having to play Missouri EVERY YEAR. That should be a gift from the SEC GODS.

Personally I'd rather us play South Carolina every year. I thought our rivalry with them was budding until they pulled us from it.
