For real. I saw him at the Walnut Ridge high school gymnasium in 1987 or thereabouts. I was 10 and it is still one of my favorite childhood memories.

My wife is from Yazoo City.  I tell people that and every time they mention Jerry Clower.  I had never heard of the guy prior to meeting her 27 years ago.

I think they're both hilarious. And Jerry Clower too. 

Seinfeld will always be my #1 sitcom and Andy Griffith #2, but Big Bang Theory is top 5. Maybe higher.

Love Jerry Clower.  I got him to autograph one of his glossy foil Yazoo City cards for me in 81' when i met him in Atlanta.  I he asked where I hailed from and when I said Hohenwald he said "HAW! Rod Brasfield!"
