This is a bullshit post and a bullshit observation. But nevertheless it's what struck me, when I wasn't even thinking about it, when I watched his post game presser.

Best case we go 3-4 in the final games.  Unless we win a couple in the SECT this is going to end up as a losing season.  Should have raised funds for the arena upgrade last year.

A win tonight makes us 15-13.  We have games @Kentucky, vs. LSU, and @Alabama to end the season.  I'd like to say we can beat LSU but I remember what they did to us at their place (beat us by 21).  I don't see us winning either road game, so whether or not it's a losing season comes down to LSU. 

We're not in the next 4 out of the NCAAT.  We're not even in the NIT projections.  16 teams go to the CBI in Daytona Beach; I doubt we get an invite to that.

This whole season can blow me.

Last night's performance against 2 win Vanderbilt where we gave up their most points of the year and their only SEC road win, is a big flashing sign that we're done.

It's a little different maybe since these days he can more or less completely turn over the roster if he wants to, but it is rare that you see a coach lose it this thoroughly and come back from it. 

I just don't know what to make of things.  But in football season Paul Finebaum was talking about Tittman and he said, "Last year was a mess.  This year is a disaster."  That seems like it could apply to the basketball program as equally as it did football.

On the other hand given that this NIL shit greatly depends on viewers like you and me...the more losing this program does the less likely we're turning loose of that disposable hooker money. So that being said how do you recover from all this when players aren't moved by all the catfish they can eat offer or that sweet UAMS money for when you rip up your knee and you will.
