I'm too old and my heart's too weak to be too jaded anymore.

Before Muss we were a pretender clinging to 30 year old memories. Since Muss arrived, three straight Sweet 16 appearances, and two Elite 8s. Before Muss no one feared us. Since Muss, we've been a team you didn't want to play (unless it was early January).

This year sucked.

Gary Parrish of CBS has said multiple times that he wants the Louisville job. Then there was the article last Friday that listed him as as a candidate at SMU but that may have just been clickbait.

Since they are hiring Kelsey, I doubt it further simply because Muss would be a way better choice.

Gary Parrish hasn't been right about anything in years. He's the HTL of coaching scoops. One thing is fairly clear to me though...nobody wants the UL gig. Could be it's a shit show for NIL which may that way in a lot of situations. Not really seeing schools really dropping their panties on basketball hires right now...maybe it opens up after the tournament.

Fair enough. I'm glad he's wrong. I've just come to learn that the "national" writers seem to have more info than our local Bob Holts. Sort of like Joe Schad of all fucking people breaking the Bielema hire.

I "met" him at one of my son's baseball tourneys down in Oxford.  He has a son that played for the other team. I watch the Chris Vernon Show religiously and recognized him and introduced myself.  Seemed like a good dude (not vouching for his correctness on things).

Should have had Muss hitting the reset button on an Nintendo constantly, since that is what we seem to be doing every year. I guess we won't know what kind of team we will have until Marxh 25.
