This fan frustration brought to you by Petit Jean Meats.  Petit Jean Meats, smokier than the Willie Nelson tour bus.

"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar when his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Once authored a post that critics claimed, "Was notaslibro level."

That type of garbage has no business in college sports. I took my kid to a semi pro baseball game for his birthday this year, and they had some PA guy who ran around all game with ridiculous stunts/games for fans to do to get involved. I get doing that for farm teams but get that shit out of BWA. It's so cheesy. College sports have a great atmosphere that's organic, not forced.

If that's not what what those people do then point me to the nearest screen door.

Want to kill time during a tine out/half? Do something that makes people laugh. Create games that are nearly impossible to win. People are engaged with humor. Don't fucking ask me to spell out HOGS like I'm fucking 2 yrs old.

Or just let the dance team cut loose every time out.

The Whyte Boar

Get a really fat guy in a cape to go out there and do belly slides up and down court so that the student section starts chanting "Fat guy...fat guy".  That used to work.

he's not wrong.

Also, you can't even understand what they are saying so because their mics are turned up so loud and the the entire PA is overmodulated , it's really pointless.
It's a college game not the NBA - let the band play and the pom squad dance!
if I want a DJ and MC crowd fluffer  bs then i'll go to an NBA game in OKC.

the crowd Wednesday was amazing form start to finish, it was like Barnhill used to be. electric!
Check your damn blood pressure!

He's been all over the place since he and cousin Eddie beat the aliens.
The same people demanding everyone embrace your beliefs, have zero tolerance and condemn another for embracing theirs.  Oh, the irony.

I know some of you will give me shit for saying this, but it is ok, go ahead.  I am sitting here watching UConn-UNC and I really enjoy this type of basketball.  Not nearly so many turnovers, fouls, or players on the court.  They can actually run two or three possessions each without a foul.  Of course, we could never do that with Nolan, and can't do it with Muss either.  We depend on having lots of fouls to give.
Apparently retarded member of the "fucking old people" crowd as defined by Swahili Steve.

I get what you're saying. At tines I think we play too aggressive on defense. It often leads to our guy getting beat and forcing someone to come off their man to help, or we foul. While other teams play off their man till rhey are near the 3pt line but challenge the passing lanes to create turnovers. It keeps there huards out of foul trouble. Just about every game we have one guard sit early with 2 fouls.

We really need this win Saturday. Bud Kilmer Brazile and get him ready to go. You gotta make the boy understand!

Thin Red Swine

Some of Muss's comments in the OU postgame were:

- Guys falling when trying to finish at the rim, which hurts our transition defense
- Point guards not organizing play
- Shot clock violations
- This team doesn't have the personality of any of his past teams

He said they've watched film and drilled on these things. I just wonder if maybe it's time to try something different, like scrimmaging in practice. He says all the time they never "go live."

Given those specific in-game issues, maybe this different personality bunch needs a different approach.

He's all but admitted earlier in the season that teams have "figured out what they were doing defensively"...I don't think that's the only thing they've figured out.

Muss seemed to be really off base with this team coming into the season. He was talking about how far ahead this team was compared to his previous teams. Also basically said Ellis wouldn't be coming off the floor much for us this season. I don't want to see Ellis playing over Blocker at all anymore.

BleedinRed

I simply don't know how Muss could have formed that opinion.  This is his weakest team athletically in his time here.

I will say this though; after the Purdue game I was a believer.  I thought we had the right athleticism and mental IQ to be really good.

I know it is still early but Sometimes it just doesn't come together I guess.

hit_that_line

Not the weakest athletically. Just dumb. We don't do anything well.

Trigger7672

Our front court guys are soft as fuck outside of Lawson who is just undersized.

I get what you are saying but I also feel like good Ellis > good Blocker. Problem is we aren't seeing good Ellis much at all. Ellis has shown he can create looks for others which we desperately need. Problem is he is a turnover machine and can't guard anyone. He's been Lykes 2.0. Blocker has steadily gotten better but still lacks playmaking ability.

We need a PG that can attack off the pick and roll the first 7 secs we cross half court. For some reason this team wastes 20 secs passing around the perimeter before trying to make a play. We don't play aggressive at all. It's frustrating.

Gambler

Not good early results, but I think we're a problem in March.
