Agree on the dumb part. I thought last years bunch was dumb but this one is older and dumber.

I kind of tuned out but didn't understand why Lawson wasn't getting more minutes. Just looked and he had 9 mins and did nothing of note in those 9 mins. Maybe he had the sniffles...he's played against bigger dudes than OU threw at him. Brazile probably shouldn't have played at all...why turn one game into 5. When you don't have those two guys being productive then it's not gonna be our night from what I can tell. 3 rebounds between them in 27 minutes of game action.

Davenport apparently can't guard a light pole but he had 18 mins and 12 points.

It's fairly easy to see that Battle's 2 of 10 shooting didn't exactly help us out...many of those shots were circus shots going to the rim so he got to the line and shot 8-8 from the charity stripe...we got to get some of these circus shots to fall though.

I bet before long Muss does what he does and plays like 6 or 7 people and fuck everyone else.

Battle has a smooth stroke from the free throw line.

I wish he would try a set shot where he square to the rim now and then, he'd make more than he does with the drives to the rim or the off balance jump shots.

Not good early results, but I think we're a problem in March.

I'd rather be the solution (a #1-3 seed) than a problem (a #7-10 seed drawing a top team in the 2nd round). Doesn't look like we're going to be, though.

Davenport has been decent on defense. Better than I expected. He's a spot up shooter though and needs to shoot off the catch. We don't have a guy to get him good looks.

Mitchell has shown a propensity (since we're using SAT words) as a good passer and could be the guy to get Davenport looks if we were to ever work the ball through the middle on an entry-exit play.

The NBA and college basketball are almost different sports. The shot making in the NBA is of such a higher caliber than the college game it's unreal.

Muss is great at building a roster and social media.

He's an average coach that runs an NBA iso style offense without NBA caliber shooters.

He also runs an NBA style man defense most of the time.

We have better talent than Oklahoma and Moser coached circles around him.

We're good when multiple players are in the zone and having an NBA caliber shooting night.

He won't get us to a final four with coaching, only if we have a hot shooting team for four straight games.

Can't afford to lose any of these last three non-cons (Lipscomb, Abilene Christian and UNC-Wilmington). UNCW beat UK.

If we do, we're really going to be behind the 8-ball headed into SEC. At least at 9-4, if we break even in the league we'll be on the bubble. If we get to 20-11 before the SECT, we should be in, barring our NET just not being good enough.

Going to be sad if that UNC-Greensboro game comes back to haunt us.

Maybe I am wrong, but I just watched the video. of Muss being asked about his "point 5" rule where he apparently expects a player to decide what to do with the ball within .5 seconds of receiving it.  He seemed really pissed off that some player had relayed that to the press.  Anyone else get the same impression?

I didn't watch the video but read something about it. The way it was written made it sound like he was complimentary of Graham for understanding it that well. Maybe it was written by a sunshine pumper. Now I can't remember where I saw it.
