HTF does Musselman manage to find so many? I would think one every once and a while would be normal. How do you possibly end up with more than one on the same team? Does he actively pursue gay basketball players? Having a team full of the gay is a hell of a way to represent the university and the people of Arkansas. If all this turns out to be true, it will make us the laughing stock of college basketball, nevermind what it will do for our recruiting. No bueno at all.

I highly doubt Muss goes around finding guys that want to be homo with each other on purpose and I also figure Muss doesn't really care about gays on his team though.

I'll add, if true, it has to be extremely difficult to be an 18-21 yr old D1 basketball player and navigate through that. If we can speculate from a far, I'm sure teammates and opposing players have as well.


I've always leaned on the good Devo side. He's brought far more memorable moments to this program than forgettable one's. I van think of 3 tourney games we likely don't win without him.

There's obviously been some behind the scenes issues with this team which makes this even more believable

Animal is right, and given this info I've probably been too hard on Devo for his emotional spells. If this stuff is true, than he's certainly suffering through some mental issues and the last thing he needs is a dogpile from his own fan base.

I wish the kid luck and hope he gets his head right.

Honestly, by and large male fans don't care about the personal lives of the players on their favorite teams. Just a reality. Chicks do more, that's why Olympics coverage looks the way it does.

I don't care whether any players on our team have a conflict because they were romantically involved with each other. All I care about is whether it affects the team. Just as many teams have been affected over the years by dudes fighting over the same woman, or just fighting because they don't like each other. I don't care why you're fighting, if it affects the team, as a fan it's bullshit.

I don't care whether you were raised in the hood and poverty and that makes you hungry. I don't care whether you were raised rich so that makes you hungry to prove something on your own. I don't care about anything, AS A FAN, except your contribution to the team.

All I want is players who contribute to the good of the team. If you can do that by sucking each other's dicks every night, or fucking some different girls every night, or whacking off by yourself at night, or none of the above, I don't care about any of that. Al Davis, "just win baby."

Good post. Agree 100% with you and Animal here. I don't know if it's the gay stuff but there's definitely a lot going on behind the scenes with this team. If anyone had told me that the basketball season would go even worse than the football season back in November I would have laughed in their face.
