I just put in my request for both.

I had some great seats last year.  But the presale they put in this year killed any chance I had for good tickets this time.

Hogs aren't there this year but not sure the Maui Invitational is going to go off without a hitch.  Most of front street burned to ground in Lahaina with hurricane force wind driven wildfires..  The Civic Center was being used as an evacuation center and it was evacuated.

That is awful, was truly a beautiful place and a trip everyone should make at least once.

That's horrible.  Been to Lahaina a couple of times and it was our home base for a week the last time we went to Maui.  Seems like alot of asphalt and concrete for a fire to consume it all.  Windy I guess.

Looking at Google Earth it looks like the town is surrounded by barren land.  How does a wildfire do that when there is no forest?  Was it a house fire that started and it jumped from building to building?

The mountain behind Lahaina battled the same problem a couple years back. A good bit of it burned. When we were there last year they still had helicopters making rounds to keep it out.

Agree. We have an entire team of guys that can do that. 
Hopefully they can shoot a little bit. 
Last I heard a mile run doesn't come up much during a BB game.
