it's 30 years old and probably needs a refresh. if they can get a chunk of renovation cost back by selling boxes and suites, then that's what will happen even if it means fewer seats.

As much as I hate Duke, they do their seating right, with the students right on top of the court. That's who the rowdiest fans are.

I hope not, but it would be going along with the trends. Auburn and Ole Miss both built relatively small new arenas (I realize they don't have the following we do), and Texas decreased capacity in their new arenas as well with a similar set up. Schools are building smaller, not bigger.
