Honestly outside of a few old men that still "get the newspaper" or watch the local news, who even listen's to these hacks? I'll bet the percentage is less than 20% of the fans. Their relevance is enhanced to us because we're online every day talking sports. Most of the average fans that I know aren't.
The local news props Irwin up against a desk, glues a muskrat to his head, and tells him to read whatever is on the prompter, much like our Pres.
Our entire sports reporters are inept, clueless, and unprofessional. That's why I get all my info from the WOOPIGS, all bullshit, all teh time.

My favorite Rainwater is from several years ago:  Jose Cruz, Jr was playing for the Travs and somehow came up in the conversation and Rainwater asked Rick if his dad was Jose Cruz?   
I think I did a spit-take while driving.
