Thanks for the correction, having the need to saw it off would definitely be worse than having it conveniently drop off on its own.

Did he really say this?

I didn't take it as trashing Muss, I took it as he's ready to take his game to the next level outside the conforms of college ball. You could see his progression as the year went on. Once again, HTL is sensationalizing something that doesn't really need to be. Here are his full quotes.

"This was a super hard decision, with Arkansas being home for me, but ultimately I chose my dream," Walsh said. "I'm betting on myself and taking the chance that I can grind it out and produce at the level I should be. Being able to know what the process will look like, I can come out successfully."

"Once I got out of Arkansas, I'm now in a position where I don't have handcuffs on me," the 6-foot-7 Walsh said. "I'm able to shoot and make plays for people. I have that flexibility to show that I can do all those things. I was stuck in a role, but now they'll see the real Jordan. That was a small glimpse of me at the combine."

"I feel like the foundation of my game will be a 3 and D player," Walsh said. "Having 50 percent of that done will catapult me into the type of career that I want and can see for myself."

Well if his intention was to not trash Muss, he could have said it very differently. And he should have known it would have not been difficult for many to take those comments the same way HTL did.

He passed up more wide open 3's than anyone I've ever seen. He never seemed to use his athleticism trying to score around the rim. Constantly pump faking and getting too far under the rim. Horrible scorer close in.
