I have always rooted against "greatness" and dynasties in the moment and then years later realized I should have appreciated it more when watching. I was rooting for the Jazz vs MJ in 98 as a kid, I couldn't stand Shaq when he was dominating, I hated those late 90's, early 2000's Yankees teams, I hated Kobe and Lebron when they were at their best. I appreciate how great the Chiefs are, but I still hope they lose every game they play.

Jerry spoke with such fervent stupidity this morning introducing Brian Schottenheimer that I'm amazed he didn't just quit on the spot.  Schottenheimer might be fine, we don't know.  It don't matter as long as Steven is lurking about.

I just realized Brain played for Blue Valley (KS) in high school...we got the shit kicked out of us by them but he is a few years older than me so he was likely gone by then.

Either way that hire strikes me as lazy as fuck and they are basically tanking to get draft picks and then hire Deion in a couple years. Maybe Jerray will be dead by then. He's sure turned himself into the Al Davis of this era.

The cowboys search was just like Arkansas' last 2 football searches which makes me believe Jerry was heavily involved.

Ya'll realize the only successful QB the Chiefs have drafted is Mahomes? We have had a lot of time in the wilderness. Mike Livingston, Bill Kennedy, Steve Fuller, ugh. Brody Croyle. Reid and Mahomes are amazing but I am shocked no one has tried to hire Spags, he is the secret sauce. Andy moving on from Bob Sutton as DC I am sure wasn't easy but it was the missing piece.

Jerry would have given mike a 4 year deal.  He was shocked Mike told him to pound sand.  Schottenheimer has fucking Stephen's fingerprints on it.  Actually I like the hire far better than Kellen Moore.  Moore is a bit too professorial to be an effective head coach; I think they want a guy who will get after it and fix the culture.

Schottenheimer said all the right shit.  I like the defensive staff they are putting together.  White cotton is one of the best d line coaches in the league. I think the critical hires is the o line coach; hopefully he's a teacher of road graters and not ballerinas.  McCarthy had shit o line coaches.  And he needs a strong qb whisper for Dak. 

My real issue is fucking Stephen jones.  What a dipshit. Using air quotes to address the "drought" was pigheaded stupidity.  Go fuck yourself you entitled twit.

I thought the NFL went with an "all-star" approach; best official by position.  Are they keeping crews intact?

O line coach has become a different type coach.  College doesn't teach anything close to the skills needed for o linemen in college.  You draft the physical traits, a mean personality, and brains and hope you can develop them.  Not many coaches can do that these days so you draft em and hope they grow into a beast.
