The only one in my district was in Mt. Pleasant.  I always liked it because of the traction.

Stokley Athletic Center had one too back in the day.

Farmington High School had one.

When I went up to Eddie Sutton's basketball camps we would bus out there and play.

The old rubber courts used to suck. Played on one last year in Texas and it was awesome. They have come a long way.

Stlvan Hills middle school used to play on carpet.

They quit using the rubber (Tartan) courts because they were knee shredders.  Honestly it felt kind of cool as a novelty, but wasn't anywhere near worth the number of injuries.

Cove used to have a rubber court.

My brothers and I played on a court of carpet.

It was in our den and the Nerf hoop was stuck in the trim over the den door.

UCA used to have a tartan court.
Hell, North Pulaski and Pulaski East had carpet gym floors.

Not college, but Duncanville chooses a North Crowley player to shoot free throws for an injured NC player. Down two, he misses both, they rebound and he drains a three.

Refs missed a blatant walk on Kentucky there.  Cheating fucks.

They also ruled a common foul which looked like an obvious F1 on KY a few minutes ago.

We had one of the first ones at my school. I didn't hate it. It didn't have dead spots in the floor like a lot of the old gyms we played at.  :)

You're thinking of Hatfield. Van-Cove as it was  called then had a very nice wooden court. Hatfield had one same as my high school Oden.  We were the only 2 in our conference that didn't have a wooden court. Tartan sucked..the astroturf of basketball.

True and if my memory is correct it was dark green which was their school color but it made that place cave like. Ours was an ugly yellow which I guess was that stuffs natural color cause my school was quite poor.

It was dark green.  I clearly remember that.

This was correct. And North Pulaski had rubber. PCSSD screwing things up is an age old tradition.
