I don't think people are saying he can't coach.  He can, especially in the tourney.

But he had one foot out the door in his last season and sold those players and fans short.

Don't hate him but certainly won't be a fan.

I won't call myself a fan and don't really care how he does at USC or any future stops, but I'm appreciative of what he did in restoring the prestige and success of the program.  One bad year doesn't undo the three previous really good ones.

Fans from his previous stops say he's got a 3-4 year shelf life and I'd say that was accurate here.


Not to mention, we all thought his next stop is either NBA or west coast, also accurate.

He's the kind of guy that gets burned out quickly and needs fresh starts often, so I guess. He was checked out last season and did the right thing to move on, that which many here are calling Pittman to do.

I'm appreciative of him for restoring the razorback program to national relevance once again. There is no Cal without Muss.

agreed but last year was a dumpster fire and that was totally on muss.

the bud walton arena crowd willed that team to wins over duke and ky jelly - there is no other way that happens.

his shelf life is short.
his best assistants will get out and it goes down from there.

Just got home from the VMI basketball game where they scored 100+ for the first time in a while. We might make it to the 2nd rd of the conference tournament this year!!

I watched the first half. It was an adrenaline game for Gonzaga. Baylor has really quick guards but they shot it poorly as you mentioned. The forward from stAte/Miami played well. I expect them to be motivated Saturday.

Yeah, nothing better than a good team that got their shit pushed in the game right before they play us.
