After beating ASU-J, they went O-for-Daytona in a holiday tournament with losses to Oklahoma State and Bowling Green.


And in an update you might get from BMFP, Legs continues her climb with back-to-back double doubles in an increasing 6th person role.

Amazingly, only 11 of 56 shot attempts were three pointers. Higginbottom scored zero of her points from deep.

Since we are still in an extended break for several of the women's teams, how about a Legs update?

She's moved into the starting lineup over the last few games for the undefeated and #7 ranked team in the country. She's the third leading scorer, leading rebounder and is shooting 93% from the free throw line.

She is missed. Desperately.

In your friendly Neighbors weekly roundup, the Ladybacks had two heartbreakers in the world famous Cherokee Invitational. They lost to powerhouses Liberty and Troy by a combined 22 points while shooting a blistering 27% from three point range.

That makes three consecutive losses to see the season record dip to 6-8, with one more nonconference game against UCA before SEC play begins.

In other news, water is wet.

Meanwhile Legs had a bad shooting night but grabbed 15 rebounds in 11-0 Maryland's 50 point win over William & Mary.  Per ESPN she's averaging 9.7 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists per game with a 40% FG%.

In 3 seasons at Arkansas Samara Spencer shot 34.4%, 32.3%, and 26% from behind the arc.  Currently she's at 50% for the year at UT.
