Haven't seen them play, but from what I have read I am not at all impressed with out new coach. Maybe I will change my mind, but I have a bad feeling.

Yet another lazy hire by Heresurcheck. I'm sure she's a nice lady and all but her pedigree was not sufficient as to be hired by any SEC level school.

We don't have much SEC talent. Ware and Deas are decent freshman though. Biggest weaknesses are defense (awful) and handling pressure defense. We don't handle it well and aren't a good passing team. Still no inside toughness and don't rebound well either. Really, not much different than under Neighbors. Run more dribble drive and don't shoot as many threes as we did under Mike. Gonna be a long year.

They were dead last in the sec and so it is going to be a long long long road back to meh but unlike football, they have little to no nil to work with which is why no one else wanted the job including smoke show once she found out about the total lack of nil.

Not sure the program will ever get to .500 again. Sad but true.

The biggest thing keeping them down is that football is so fucked up that we have to divert any available revenue/NIL towards fixing that. We have to give priority to making sure the revenue sports have all they need first. Unfortunately for those who follow it, rebuilding the women's basketball program is a luxury we don't have right now.

If there was ever a condition for the "Have's" and "Have Nots" to be so glaring, it will come in the form of female NIL shit. Programs that have been historically good will have the active investment to see it succeed.
