Hasn't worked that way in MLB.  If anything it seems to be faster.

That probably has more to do with things like the three batter rule and limited number of pickoffs, but the last several games I've watched have come in under three hours.

I don't know. With the ear buds now that go out regularly or the offensive time outs, 4 hour (or over) games seems to be the norm. The pitch/hitter clock should have helped, but other things impeded that.
