Maybe. There are always going to be other options out there. I don't know that I buy the Beard thing where he's back to the table. Was it John Tyson or Stephens that had to save the deal with Mike Anderson after it was initially botched by Long? Getting turned down stone cold on twitter surely shut that shit right the fuck down the other day. Although Arkansas has circled back a number of times to Gus and probably will again and finally get him in 2025.

I just don't think these coaches really view lateral moves between P5 gigs to be that much of an incentive. If the NIL thing is currently fucked most any coach including a lot of your top mid-major guys are going to want some guarantees and long term contract...maybe 7 year deal to start.

When that guy got eligible is when the wheels really began to fall off. You would have to do some pretty bad shit for anyone to notice at the NCAA these days.
