I have been wondering about this.  Is Wade even eligible to be hired at Arkansas?

I think he probably does have the authority.  I am sure we have signed agreements to go by SEC rules, etc.

I don't see how the conference can block which coach you hire. I've seen nothing that states Wade cannot coach in the SEC

He does have a point. Auburn's the SEC's darling. They hire Pearl, Freeze and do whatever they want with little to  no backlash.
