Well that stinks.  From what I read when Calipari was initially hired, Quaintance sounded like the guy most likely to follow him.

UMemphis recently announced a 5 yr/25million agreement/donation for NIL from FdEx. I hate what the college game has become but understand chasing the dollar.

I will say, if you're not going to be a 1 or 2 and done, maximize NIL deals for yourself. If you are a 1 or 2 and done, Cal would be a great way to go.

The best type of teams have a mix. I'm fine with 2-3 great frosh recruits combined with vets. We may have that with Knox and Johnell Davis. Uconn had that with Castle as a 1 and done and upper classmen.
