I didn't take it that way either. Muss always scheduled strong OOC mid-majors.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a UConn or Villanova in MSG...or a Houston or Texas Tech in Dallas.

Those games aren't going to hurt you that bad if you lose and it's going to show your team how to step the fuck up for the postseason on neutral courts.

MSG might be a possible St. John's match against Pitino? Could be one of those early season tournaments?

As for our other OOC's...last season wasn't that great and we struggled bigly against some really weak teams. Ruta was supposedly a genius at picking these OOCs...anyway sometimes shit just doesn't pan out. Scheduling more neutral site games is essentially same as saying we're going to schedule more A-listers and less directional schools. The kids coming to play for Cal aren't coming to play Texas-Arlington.
