Show-Me Hog

Aloy seems to have downgraded to Warning Track Power. Several flyouts to the track in the last few games.

Bottom 3rd.

Daly doubles to LF.  Runner on 2nd, 1 out.

Nicholson lines to Aloy, who steps on 2nd.  6 unassisted DP.  2 outs.

End 3rd.  Bourbon 3 Moonshine 2

Welp, looks like this is a 'bad Brady' game

Tygart hasn't really looked/felt like a starter all year.  He's a reliever.
I'm on smoko, so leave me alone.

Agree 100%.
Never squat with your spurs on!

Most of it isn't his fault.

The ground ball that he deflected (hard to blame the guy for trying to make a play) would have gotten him out of the 2nd unscathed, as would the Lovich fly ball.

Top 4th.

Souza grounds out to 1st. 1 out.

White strikes out.  2 outs.

Lovich lines out to SS. 3 outs.

Mid 4th. 3-2 them.

Bottom 4th.

McCoy singles to LF.  Runner on 1st, 0 out.

Smith walks.  Runners 1st and 2nd, 0 out.

And that will do it for Tygart.

PITCHING CHANGE:  Gage Wood in for Tygart.

Brady didn't have his best stuff today, but it's important to remember that if our left fielder could catch a fucking fly ball that he was camped under this would still be a 2-0 Hog lead.

(Editor's Note:  this may be the worst camera angle from behind the pitcher we have seen all year.  It seems like the camera is positioned at about a 30 degree angle to the line directly from home plate to the mound.)

Waldschmidt walks.  Bases loaded, 0 out.  Bourbon hats engaged.

Pitre doubles to RF.  Two runs score.  5-2 Kentucky.  Runners 2nd and 3rd, still no fucking outs.

Burkes bunts, tagged out by McLaughlin.  Run scores.  6-2 Kentucky.  Runner on 3rd, 1 out.

Lopez singles to CF.  7-2 Kentucky.  Runner on 1st, 1 out.

Might be time to punt this one and get ready for tomorrow.

Daly grounds into a 6-4-3 to mercifully end this inning.  3 outs.

End 4th.  7-2 bad guys.

It isn't that bad.

Top 5th.

Need to get at least two and preferably more back to stay in this one.

(Editor's Note:  It would be really nice if our pitchers could get the same strike zone as they are giving this wronghanded dildo.)

Stovall singles to LF.  Runner on 1st, 0 out.

Sprague-Lott grounds into a force at 2nd.  Runner on 1st, 1 out.

McLaughlin, after taking ball four for strike two, grounds into a 3-6 double play.   FUCK THIS HOME PLATE UMP!

Mid 5th.  7-2 them.

I liked our plate approach yesterday.

Today it feels totally different.

The angle on the broadcast is as bad as I've seen.

Part of it may be that the home plate umpire is on the take, but we noticed it while watching last night as well.  It's a lot more significant than you see in most SEC parks.

No. I mean in the way of typical backwoods looking family. Like Bubba and his girl in that Tennessee pic.

Top 6th.

Aloy flies out to shallow CF.  1 out.

Diggs walks.  Runner on 1st, 1 out.

PITCHING CHANGE:  Hogan on for Niman.

This pitching change brought to you by the fact that I just hit a $4 win bet on a horse that paid $96 to win in the 9th at CD.  To keep from going full HTL here, I'm still way down for the weekend, and I'm not in Louisville.

Holt strikes out.  Runner on 1st, 2 outs.

Souza strikes out swinging.  3 outs.

Mid 6th.  7-2 them.

Oh right. For a second I forgot we're not playing a Southern team.
