DVH announced last night that McEntire will start game 3.

Tygart is with the team but not the roster. He'll be sitting this weekend to get over soreness and will probably make a start in Hoover.

DVH also intimated he wasn't happy that he got absolutely nothing from his 1-2 hitters in the lineup (Diggs and Sandlot) who were a combined 0-9 with 5 K's last night. Expect Diggs to sit today and Sandlot to bump down. Diggs shouldn't be above the 8 hole in a meaningful game until he shows any semblance of consistency.

Both DVH and Schloss basically hinted last night they were going to treat this as a postseason tune-up game since it basically doesn't mean anything in terms of seeding.

Sort of odd to me that we have a top 5 rubber match and it's basically a meaningless scrimmage to prep for the postseason, but it is what it is.
