Diggs performance this season is actually pretty impressive.  Most players would get a few lucky hits here and there.  He just keeps striking out.

Diggs batting leadoff at this point is the equivalent of the travel ball coach's kid playing shortstop and batting in the 3 hole despite being one of the worst players on the team.

It's unreal. He shouldn't be above the 8 hole. Hell, I'm not sure he needs to be in the lineup at all at this point. He just finished the season batting .189 in SEC play. That's horrendous.

The book is out on Diggs. He can hit fastballs to the moon but he simply can't hit a breaking ball to save his life. Casey Martin 2.0.
