If the Fayetteville RB is coached to slide late in the game instead of scoring they would've just ran clock out and won 54-47.

Coulda shoulda woulda.  If Potter hadn't been off in the first half it wouldn't been all that close.

He wasn't on the whole game he didn't even complete 50 percent of his passes. He gets bailed out having insane athletes to throw to. You take Ball and Wrightner away and he'd really look bad.

Fayetteville should've been up 42-17 at half. Odom threw three touchdowns on fourth down in the first quarter lol. They gave up a safety on a bad snap on a punt and surrendered a field goal after getting up 28-7, then dropped a pick six and still scored another TD before half.

Casey definitely coached not to lose instead of win in the second half though.

The Whyte Boar

Potter overthrew two touchdowns innthe first half.  One with no one within ten yards of rhe receiver.  Should have had at least 28 in that first half.

He's average at best. Not anywhere close to the QB's they've had in the past.

DrMongoose

Fayetteville got pressure on potter in the first half but they did not in the 2nd and did not seem as aggressive with the pressure which bothered Potter

The ball kid is unreal, wow. Once they put him at RB after Johnson got dinged the game changed.

Texas let battles score that last touchdown which gave them the ball back, as noted, he should have fallen down instead of scoring, kudos to their staff for realizing it was the only way to get the ball back. Clock management. 2 first downs end the game.

Still, one hell of a game and a great atmosphere for high school football.

Check your damn blood pressure!

I believe the point being a late one point win isn't exactly "beating dat ass."

But, congratulations.

Being three touchdowns behind and coming back to win, is an ass whipping.  Or otherwise known as, taking advantage of someone pulling "An Arkansas".

No. It's simply not.

Yeah, I don't know, spotting someone 21 points and then beating them is pretty convincing.  I know it hurts.  It goes down better if you just accept it.

And it is fucking criminal that Arkansas is letting Tradarian Ball go to Oregon.  That kid should be all hog.   He has been the best player on the field in every game since he started as a freshman.

I have zero interest in the outcome.

It's just really bizarre logic.

I guess Texas kicked our ass in '69 too. They were down 14-0 after the third quarter.

The Rogers Heritage War Eagles continue their march to another 0-10

Their record year after year is atrocious

I bet their has never been another program as historically terrible as this one

They have won 7 games the last 10 years

That is trying to schedule out of state wins against tiny schools

It's gotten pretty depressing over there. I am still surprised they are 7A. Their enrollment has cratered after school choice was made law. Many of their kids have decided to go to RHS which is currently busting at the seams with students. The district is at a loss for how to get students to go back to Heritage. They have hired some decent coaches but nothing seems to work.

Most of their athletes have gone baseball only the past few years, there is young talent but nowhere near enough to make up for it.

Hogslobber

Think they are the 13th largest high school in the state between Conway and Bryant

Someone needs to check that

My buddy's kids went there until they moved and it was all baseball all the time.

My Godson plays for Catholic and I watched them play NLR last night. Catholic has a pretty good team and they were in control the whole game.
