Quote from: Thin Red Swine on Jun 01, 2024, 08:21 PMSomeone in the ticket office must have a singular job of putting jaw-dropping blondes over lefthanded hitters' shoulders.

It's every postseason.

You think RickB PAYS for all his tickets?  Naw, he earns them.
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar the first time his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Once authored a post that critics claimed, "Was notaslibro level."

Quote from: BleedinRed on Jun 01, 2024, 09:32 PMMight should have pulled Smith after that third run.

Problem is we couldn't because we blew our pen yesterday (notably Gaeckle) when we should've been able to coast after building an 8 run lead.

But Molina shit the bed with walks, and then DVH made the terrible call to go with McEntire who basically allowed SEMO to reset the game.

Top of the sixth.

Diggs leads off. Flies out to the pitcher's mound. 1 away.

Holt singles to center.

Wagner flies out to center. (3 fly ball outs by our DH)

Wilmsmeyer walks. Runners at first and second, 2 outs.

Pitching change.....Neighbors (RHP) in.

Stovall grounds out to second,

KState leads 6-2 mid 6. We are standing too many.
Well, shit...

Feral

How many fucking infield pop flies are we going to hit this game?

Thin Red Swine

If that was us, that ball would've hit the ground and the batter would be on second.

We have plenty of arms left.

Too bad we only have flyswatters on the other side.

Have we peaked yet? We have tons of pitching.

Quote from: GeoHogsGeo on Jun 01, 2024, 09:36 PMWhy does seem like DVH teams get weaker as the season progresses?

Because he aint all that. His lineup and pitching decisions have been suspect for years now. Hell I've seen him pull kids with a no-no going into the 8th, and leave guys in who are getting touched up left and right.

Feral

They talked early in the game about how KSU's starter only went 2.2 in his last outing.

My first thought was "bet he goes 5 and looks like a Golden Spikes winner tonight."

Sure enough he went 5.2 and only allowed 2 runs, one of them on an error.

It does make you wonder if it's time for DVH when former assistants like Vitello and Wes Johnson are having a lot of success.

I'm of the opinion we need to hire Vitello before he wins one at Tennessee and becomes untouchable.

And now they bring in motherfucking Rick Vaughn.

2.2 and gave up 7 runs

...to a team that didn't even make the postseason.

Bottom of the sixth. Bybee in.

Lodice (PH) leads off. Goes down swinging. 1 away.

Bishop goes down looking. 2 away.

Pelletier flies out to right.

6-2 bad guys after 6.
Well, shit...

I just said the same about Vitello but I'd rather have Johnson.

Mostly though, not even DVH wizardry can overcome the Arkansas. TONIGHT just had to be the worst outing of Smith's career.

Nah, this wasn't his worst game. He had the TCU game last year. Same result, I guess.

If we're being honest with ourselves, Hagen hasn't been "best pitcher in the country" Hagen the last few weeks.

He got shelled in the SEC tourney, and MSU touched him up as well. He also hasn't been locating as well and has been walking too many batters.

True. I was thinking worst of the year but it came out wrong.
