Quote from: HOGSRUNWILD on Jul 06, 2024, 08:32 PMA certain bloc will make sure to vote for Angel over CC cause...reasons that change daily depending on what new category CC is beating AR in.  CC has made her team better.  AR?  Not so much.

They're both having great seasons. Reese has been putting up huge numbers the last 10 games.

The Whyte Boar

Meh, Reese will have 20 rebounds and 8 to 12 of them will be her rebounding her own missed shots.

Reese is the epitome of why high level women's NCAA ball and the WNBA were unwatchable before Clark, find a 6'5 woman and let bulldoze the competition.  It doesn't matter that her vertical is four inches or that her handles are on par with your average 6th grade boy, she will simply dominate with her size.

Clark is the first woman with large scale appeal to play like a man.  She shoots like Steph Curry but her passing is even more impressive.  WNBA players should be lining up to be on her team.  She'll raise your scoring a average a half dozen points with two or three gimme layups a game because of her passing.

Anyway, she is fun to watch because there really aren't that many women who are as coordinated as she is.

You assumption that their scoring average will go up relies on them CATCHING the passes that hit them in the hands.  That is quite an assumption.

She is an old school fundamentally skilled basketball player, which to be honest is rare on the pro level men or women.

Yeah, 30 foot pull up threes and 70% of your shots being three point attempts, real "old school."

Clark is a great talent and a transcendent women's basketball player but her game is not old school.

I was referring to her ball handling and passing.

She does force some passes, but some of her teammates have concrete hands.

Watching them try to catch passes is like watching 7th grade girls basketball. They're just not athletic enough to make those plays.
CC makes womens basketball somewhat watchable. It's just otherwise so terrible.
I can't so much as drink a damn glass of water around a midget or a piece of antique furniture.

She is like 8/32 in her last two games and most of her rebounds are her own misses.

A couple of games ago the other team had the win wrapped up and fouled her anyway with 6 seconds to go so a free throw would get her the 10th point for a double double.

There's very little that's actually impressive about her game.
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar the first time his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Clark with 19(!) assists tonight.

But the turnovers!  She's the WNBA's Brett Favre at this point.  Gonna be the be the leader at spreading the ball around, going to be the turnover leader, and (if their coach wasn't an idiot) the one you want to have the ball in crunch time.

Is it coincidental that panini also is written on the side?

WNBA skills contest and 3-point contest tonight.  Currently 3-on-3 is on and it's setting the game of basketball back by decades.

What makes for a wnba skills competition? Dribbling?  catching passes? I started to watch to see what it was but I did not last 15 seconds as the announcers were crowing about skills before it started.

Will they play nice with Caitlin during the all-star game?
