You say you don't know football, troll.

Quote from: The Whyte Boar on Sep 28, 2024, 06:08 PMOh, we'll fire Pittman and hit the easy button and Barry Odom will be here the next day. I don't know, we're just not serious.

Does Calipari know Saban at all? He's unemployed, football-wise.

This is the way.  It has to be a Son of Arkansas!
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar the first time his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Quote from: BleedinRed on Sep 28, 2024, 06:06 PMThe truth is we are a bottom tier football team in the SEC.  It just is what it is.

We chose to be. Broyles chose to be that way too during Hatfield.  He passed over a lot of great coaches because he refused to talk to agents.

Bob Stoops had offers at other schools and we wanted him to go through a series of interviews with committees.

And then he refused to let Nutt go after Quinn Goddamn Grovey stuck us with him

I bet Sam tries to suspend Armstrong next week for raising his voice at a fellow teammate.

Jamie Pittman is smiling. One more game closer to the buyout.

Is the Mountain West still looking for new conference members?

Hogfan58

I know people were bitching about the TO before the fake because most thought we'd end up punting, but I think we should have. Would have flipped the field, pinned them deep and our D was still holding them to 3 and outs. It may not have changed the outcome, but it would have made our playcalling much different than always starting on our 20 or worse.
I need help and I know it.

The Whyte Boar

Not ever flipping the field on them was big since the fumble on the ten lost us the game.

Trigger7672

I'd take either of our coordinators as head coach over Pittman.

I think Williams could be in line for the gig if we can somehow manage to be a serviceable 6-6 this season. Not sure Sam survives 6-6 with two coordinators on staff that could/would probably take over an do better.

We aren't winning six games.

Tennessee will boat race us.
Ole Miss will be focused on their hunt for a playoff spot.
LSU will simply out talent us.

Miss St and LaTech are wins

Texas will murder us.
Mizzou will piss on our corpse.

math still possible. This feels like one of those years where we find out with 3 games left we've been playing the wrong QB. ::)

I think he survives 6-6, especially if we start looking competent on offense (a big if, I know). I think whoever is in charge up there would be willing to give him another change if it looks like we have something going instead of rolling the dice on our 6th or 7th option. 6 wins also means beating either TN, Ole Miss, LSU, or Missouri. They'd carry him off the field and really finish off Hasz's back.

He's going to be a head coach for someone next season I bet.
