I feel like Petrino's offense is just too complex and hypersophisticated for modern day players.

Players need simplified offenses and play calls. Petrino's offense is advanced but players don't understand "Trips Y22 Z-out Flex Turbo Split Shot X-mesh Flash Tiger Z-in on 3" means.
