At this point 6 wins is worse case scenario, no? With Miss St and La Tech on the schedule and 4 of 6 games at home. There isn't a dominate team left on our schedule.

My hope is Pittman retires after this year, because we are almost certainly beating LaTech and Miss St to get to a bowl.

"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar when his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Sadly, Texass looks pretty dominant.

Jesus Christ man.

4-8 is the worst case scenario.

The box score says otherwise.

431-332 total yards.

Time of possession was 35 minutes to their 24.

BMFP called a great game.

We were due.  There is some talent on the team. They have got to cut down on the mental mistakes. Every game is going to be a fight from here on out.

I don't feel good about Texas, but I didn't feel good about Tennessee either.  And we're still improving, especially on offense.  All of a sudden, assuming Green is good to go, I think we might be an 8-9 win team.

We should kidnap Dan Enos, bring him back here, and force him to hand-wash Sam's underwear after every practice.

What was I thinking...I should be using my Arkansas fan logic.

The off week could not come at a better time for him to heal up. Unless it's one of those things that's going to need surgery, like a ligament or whatever.

Russell is the most "doesn't play like a freshman" back we've had since McFadden.

He's like a bowling ball, always seems to get 3 yards after contact, yet somehow has a bit of speed in the open.

Whoever said Dennis Johnson vibes is spot on.

if it means petrino staying and starting a successful gofundme for williams, it wouldn't be that terrible a thing if he did get another year.

Quote from: Show-Me Hog on Oct 05, 2024, 10:48 PMYou have to throw it. An interception doesn't matter. Throwing it into coverage doesn't matter. You HAVE to throw it and give your guys a chance. What you can't do is....run out of bounds.

If that was our QB I would be a couple of days getting over that brain fart.

Yep. Bizarro world. That's typically the type of crap we pull to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Some horse tranquilizers and a staple gun and he'll be good to go.

Except for the extra 75 pounds part.

Who said that?

I did not see a way in hell we'd win that damned game.  Seen that movie too many times... Prevent Defense almost fucked us, but we lucked out with their QBs stupidity.  Defense won this game.  Singleton did fine on his 3rd series.  If Green could start seeing the open receivers earlier and getting the ball out, we could actually be good...

Quote from: Show-Me Hog on Oct 05, 2024, 10:46 PMI think it was "as an unranked team." Because that's the meme they were going with all day (Vandy/Bama).

2007 unranked arkansas beat #1 LSU.

Texas has played no one.  They are basically Ole Miss.
