I'm not sure I've ever seen a fanbase obsess over someone they wanted gone so badly. 

To be fair, Arkansas fans were like that with Nutt and Ole Miss.

To be fair, one is a HOF coach that won a NC at the former school along with multiple FF appearances, and the other is an asshat.

You can put all the caveats you want. I'm just saying, Arkansas fans were obsessed over Nutt when he was dismissed and went to Ole Miss.

True, but there were factors beyond the on court record in play with Nutt that aren't with Cal and Kentucky. 

And Cal has handled any questions about his previous job with class.  Nutt and his entourage flipped off fans and spit on our field.  One coach left with grace.  The other did everything he could to poke his previous employer in the eye.

If Cal shows his ass when we go to Rupp in February it will be a valid comparison.
