I think the shooting will come around but we aren't physical enough inside. Not to mention we only have 3 bigs. That will bite us in the ass.

Aidoo will make a difference inside when he can play 25-30 mins. The guy was first team all SEC last year. Mainly due to his defense.

He's a very good shooter. He's been out with a wrist injury most of fall camp. He shot 41% on 3's last year.

I understand his stats.  And I understand his injury. 

I also understand he hasn't pissed a drop so far as a Hog.  

I believe he will be fine.

He's definitely on a mins restriction. We needed more mins with the Aidoo/Thierro combo.

I find Jimmy Dykes so annoying. And not because of the banjo comments. I know he's a true Razorback. He's just an annoying commentator.

I just watched the game. Not surprising, but he was in postseason annoyance form.

As for the game, it was like a late March battle of wills, just without the cohesiveness or polish. We had too many lapses on defense and just got too far behind early. We spent our energy tying it early in the second and they were well-coached as usual. 

I'm encouraged.

Lost by 5 to the #8 team in The country in the second game of the season after whipping Kansas' ass in a preseason game. 

Yeah, let's fucking define the entire team, coaching and season right now.

They need something to get some engagement, but it still a massive overreaction. We looked way better in the second half, and we still don't have Davis or Aidoo healthy. That's literally all we're missing. Hitting the panic button now is ridiculous.

20 3pt attempts per game ranks 282 in the country theough 2 games. Utah is first at 44 attempts per game.

KY led the country in 3pt% last year. They went cold and lost the first game. I'd rather have a team than can make 3's at a decent clip, can get to the rin, and can defend their ass off. You better be able to defend when you get to the tourney. Go look up Cal's history when he has a top 30 decense.

Absolutely it is. This team has aa good of talent as anyone. Let's see how this season plays out.

as a whole, the national media was never cool with cal walking away from kentucky and taking the arkansas job, especially with how quick it happened. it almost seemed like an insult to them.

Z is gonna struggle with physical bigs. Aidoo will be be more physical. We defended the PnR much better last night. I don't recall us getting beat once on it.

I would like to see boogie stop shooting so much (like cal said after the forest game - it is not like his barely missing) it is like watching devo jack shots. Of course, cal also has the ability to do something about it.

Attemptimg threes and hitting threes are two different things. I don't care if you shoot 100 of them as long as you are hitting them. And like I said last night, we seem to be weak under the basket. The last two games, opposing players have been left wide open underneath. And I am not sold on Z yet. But, it is early.

My point was that we are not living and dying by the 3. We shoot very few conpared to most teams. This team can shoot 35% from 3.
