That had as much to do with actual pro boxing as the WWE has with actual wrestling. I can't believe y'all wasted your time with this tom foolery. I'm glad Mike got the bag, though. Let Paul fight a real muthafucka like Terrence Crawford or Canelo and see what happens. He'd either wake up in a hospital or in Hell.

Actually the fight brought more eyeballs to boxing than have been generated in total in the last 20 years combined.  And other than the headliner, the card presented some great bouts.  The Taylor Serrano fight was historic for setting up women's boxing; what a great fight.  It's too bad Netflix had idiots for announcers as they implied that the decision was wrong and that Texas boxing is corrupt.giving the cornerman a wide berth to yammer about head butting stink.  They also missed a huge story in not covering the curtains.

I can't believe I stayed up for that circus. Paul's entrance and his million dollar outfit. Sponsor shit stuck all over the ring. Professional boxing is dead.

Trigger called it- Tyson was out of breath by Round 3. I was trying to find a round by round breakdown, but I think he threw three punches in Round 4. He landed 18 across eight rounds.

Enjoy the cash Mike. Thanks for the memories.

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Once guys figured out you could win fights by not getting hit instead of knockouts (defense - wasn't mayweather the king of this?) and suspect scoring by judges, boxing died.

Not sure what you mean by "rigged" because I don't think it takes much pre planning or interference for one fighter to keep his distance trying to make it 8 rounds, and the other simply lets him while scoring a few points. That's definitely what happened, but I don't know that it needed to be pre-planned.

Watching Tyson use his legs in his training videos and then seeing how he moved last night, something is not right.

Tyson didn't even try fighting last night.  He never looked like he did in his training videos.

He clearly stood in the ring for 8 rounds.

Maybe he overtrained and was tired.  Maybe the scale of the event got him.  He couldn't lose.  He's 58.  On the other hand Paul can't win.  A loss would be disastrous.  A win against a 58 year old is meaningless.  It was a disappointing bout in a really good night on the undercard.

Can it be a catalyst for a revival of boxing and big events like this?  My wife didn't really want to watch and then said in the undercard, "I forgot how much I love boxing!"  She lost her shit in the Taylor-Serrano fight.  She knows the game as her long ago first husband was a boxer and she'd train with him.

Looked like his knee was bothering him.  He had a bit of a limp that I noticed as he was walking back to his corner between one of the rounds.
The very pants I was returning.

He got paid. That is all he wanted. He did what he had to do to get paid. And he wanted to have his brain working good enough to KNOW he got paid.
