If it is the play I think it is, I thought it was PI. However, when they replayed it on the teevee, it looked like our receiver slipped down before he was run over.

He definitely slipped.

We were two blown plays away from possibly winning that game.  That pass on the first Texas possession went right through the hands of our DB who might have scored if he had caught it.  And the Texas fumble that went out of bounds before we could recover it led to a TD for them a few plays later.  Make those two plays and it is a different game.

I will say I was not impressed with Petrino's play calling in the game. 

Lot of what ifs on both sides. Green almost had a couple picks early.  The Oline helped him by letting green get sacked instead of throwing picks.  They overlooked us.  Both offenses had questionable play calling.  Both should have benched their qb. 

Texas looks at us as miss state. Vandy. SC.  Just nothing burgers.  And we deserve that until we prove otherwise.  Sam still has his dream of bowl eligibility and another year in his sights.

I expect us to half ass it next week and beat LaTech by 10. Mizzou will beat our ass as we accept that Shreveport bowl bid.

Broden slipped, but he was still hit before the ball got there. Given that he's 6'7" the slip didn't make the ball uncatchable.   It should have been called PI.   

The worst one was in the 2nd half.  The texass DB clobbered Anthony (who didn't fall down) a full step ahead of the ball.  They threw the flag, and inexplicably picked it up.  It didn't end up costing us as we scored a TD on that drive, but I was secretly hoping someone would pelt the head ref with a battery or something after he announced the fuckery.

This game felt like Paul vs. Tyson...everyone knew the outcome, and at the end, everyone is happy no one got seriously hurt.

Turns out he just needed some time in a solid S&C program instead of togetherness therapy.

He looks like he not only got his knee fixed right but his physique.  Our stupid S&c coach had him add a bunch of weight which fucked his knee.  Uhh coach adding weight doesn't add as ounce of cartilage.  Fucking dumb shit.  Nearly kilt Rockets career.  He's revived it and has a shot at getting drafted mid round.

I'm not sure how much of that weight gain was planned by the staff. 

He looked out of shape to me.  Body by Budweiser.  Same as our other huge NIL recipient, the former QB.
