At some point you just hurt the motherfucker.  If they are going to call 20+fouls just on him, make a few of them really count

When Kobe scored 81, someone asked Jordan about it.  He said Kobe wouldn't have scored 81 on him.  Jordan would have stopped him or fouled out long before he got to 81.

One player shooting 43 free throws and 22 threes (he made 7) isn't fun basketball to watch.

It's being celebrated as something historic.  It's a travesty to the game.

I just thought they used Teddy Valentine and Doug Shows for a game.  That's a lot of fouls.  SEC refs must have been involved somehow.
Oak Grove in the house.

Miami was fouling the inbound passes just to force free throws and get the ball back faster for him to take more shots.

Whole thing was a setup for show.
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar the first time his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

We had an Emory chief resident that once had industry host a "Journal Club" there. Once.
That got quickly shut down by the Emory powers.

This is correct. Barkley and Ewing were common visitors. It was the spot of the club scene in "Hall Pass" iirc.

Quote from: Doc Hogaday on Feb 03, 2025, 03:39 PMAs far as Vegas, there were rumors maybe 15 years ago, when the Maloof family still owned the Kings, that they were going to try to move the franchise from Sacramento to Vegas. They also owned the Palms at the time. It never materialized and they sold the franchise.

As far as Fox, I am glad he got outta there. Probably my favorite current NBA player and that place is basketball purgatory. He has kept them competitive for years but no A-list NBA players are making Sacramento their destination in free agency. San Antonio has always been a well-run franchise and if him and Wemby can entice one good 3 & D to come on down they might have something.

Back to Vegas, I think eventually the NBA gives them an expansion franchise. They should add one in Seattle too and make it an even 32-team league. Move Memphis to the Eastern Conference.

NBA is going to vote next week on expansion for Vegas and Seattle. Or at least to explore it. I think it will happen.
