Well, BYU beat us.  So, we are slightly worse than BYU.

At some point, if you want to be considered good, you have to win.  And we don't win at any rate that would indicate that we are anything better than 12-14 in the league.

Frank got shit for what he said but he was spot on correct; we are 8th or 9th (with expansion it is now 10th or 11th) in potential.  40 years fucking proves that true.

I never understood how Hog fans can feel superior to aTm or Mizzou. At some point you have to actually show it on the field. We haven't in the last 10+ years.

I think he gets a final year at 4-8 but he probably needs to win at least 5.  3-9 or 2-10 he's gone. 

If he couldn't field a team that could beat BYU at home, I don't see much hope for 5 wins. The only conference game that seems like a possible win at this point is MSU. 4-8 seems like the best case scenario unless something drastically changes.

We act like A&M and Mizzou are cakewalks when they've owned us since coming into the league (or in Mizzou's case since we started playing yearly in 2014).

Shit, Mississippi State has won 8 of the last 11 against us.

The only West opponent we've held our own against, inexplicably, is Ole Miss. Bert was 4-1 against Freeze, and Pittman is 2-1 against Kiffin, and both of those guys had 10 win seasons and trips to the Sugar Bowl.

When you're markedly better than those schools over the previous 50 years it can take a while for it to sink in that the gap has evaporated. Especially when they only things that have really changed are 1) us hiring multiple terrible coaches in a row and 2) one diabeetus laden agent getting pissed that we fired his least marketable client 16 years ago and deciding to convince all his competent clients that we are a dead end job.
