Not knowing who our coaches are other than Sambo nor who our players are, we can get an early start of prognosticating our 2025 season.

I have 3 wins:  bama aggy, red wolves, state.  I wavered on ASU.

3-9.  Could go 2-10.

Feral

4-8

I think Sam pulls one out of his ass he shouldn't, but largely loses the rest for the most part.

animal

7-5, best 7-5 team in the history of 7-5 teams.

Refs won't cheat us out of a game next season.  3-1 Nonconference, SEC wins against Mississippi State...

If Grandpa Bobby returns add in wins against Auburn and Aggy to take us back to another bowl.

If Sam leaves and Darth Petrion ascends back to the throne, CFP appearance.

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

I figure at minimum we split between Missouri and A&M.  Same for LSU and Ole Miss.  I don't think we beat Tennessee again and we now that Texas is back on the rotation we won't ever beat them.  Auburn and MS State are both ass.  Notre Dame could is really the only one I don't have a feel for.  I could see us beating them as ND never really plays anyone and it is early in the season.

Notre Dame loses an early season game they shouldn't each year.  Maybe we can be that team.

I'm a long way from chalking up Memphis State as a win in Memphis.  They have been better than us for most of the last decade, including this year.  I've watched much shittier Memphis teams embarrass us over the years.

I'll hold my way too early predictions on a game by game basis until we see the plus/minus from portal season.  That includes whether or not BMFP is still on our sidelines.

There is virtually no way the football gods allow us to beat Notre Dame and if we did Sam would be all Mission Accomplished the thru the SEC slate winning maybe 2 more games.

You mean the teams that are a combined 21-3 against us since they've joined the league?

HogOfWar

I am not going to credit a record this early, since my last two years were opposite of each other's results. Instead, I am going to predict how many turnovers we will have:

-20 or more

This 100%.

Ironically, beating Notre Dame would probably be worse for our final record than losing to them.

We beat ND and Sam will pack it in, much like he did after we beat Tennessee this year.

I'm to the point (and have been) that I'll believe we win against A&M and Mizzou when I see it.

Until then, I'm chalking both up as auto losses.

I watched Memphis vs Tulane and Memphis is better coached, plays harder, and has more talent (at least on the field) than Arkansas.

We should hire their coach.

I thought what I wrote was fairly clear.  Maybe not.  Not sure what the last 24 games have to do with next year's results.   Yes, I think we split between those two games.

Obviously their NIL situation is far better than ours.

Very well could be. Fred Smith dumped a lot of money in NIL last year. Around $25M if I recall.

RPL

A very shaky 4-8.

Alabama A&M - W.  If the Hogs lose this one...
Arkansas State - W.  This is where it gets shaky. This is NEAJC's Super Bowl. It won't mean anything for the Hogs.
Memphis - L.  What has the history between these two shown? Yeesh.
Notre Dame - L.  Not a chance.
Auburn - W. This is simply a wish, though more likely an L
Mississippi State - W. Only football program in the SEC worse than the Hogs. MSU will likely be better first.
Missouri - L. The Hogs have proven they don't want to beat the punchable-faced coach.
Texas A&M - L. It doesn't matter how bad or down the Aggies are, they will win.
LSU - L. Similar to Missouri and A&M, history shows the game is close but LSU always wins.
Mississippi - L. Absent a 4th and 25 play by a smart player, Mississippi plays chess while the Hogs fuck up checkers.
Tennessee - L. Revenge for the Vols.
Texas - L. The Horns don't care. Arkansas is just another bump in the road.

I wonder when the league is going to announce the actual schedule...when the SEC teams play each other.

The order we face the opponents could matter.  Start out hot with an unexpected win over Memphis State and a decent showing against ND and we might be motivated to play up in some of the conference games.  If we follow those with Texas-LSU-Tennessee Sam might not be the coach by November 1.
