How many more players have to hit the portal before we cancel the bowl game?

This seems like a real possibility.

Maybe not us this year, but there will legitimately be a team who encounters this in the next year or 2.

If Covid did it, so can opt-outs.

Just pick any yard lot in Orange Mound.  Get the insurance if it's a rental.

My one and only Liberty Bowl experience was in 1974 when a college girlfriend invited me to go see Tennessee play Maryland in what was then known as Memphis Memorial Stadium.

I came away with two impressions: I had definitely underestimated the ability of Memphis to freeze my ass off and Randy White was a very baaaad man on the football field.

I just froze my ass off in Antarctica but at least it was worth it. No way I am going to this bowl game to watch a thrown together team get their asses handed to them while freezing to death. And I I live here. I have relegated our football team to something like our swimming team, which I don't watch either. Maybe when they start looking like a decent football team, I will care again,

I have the same feeling about this Liberty Bowl as I did the Cotton Bowl where Missouri laid belt to ass on Reggie Herring and company.
Perish peacefully in a warm environment.

2010 was fucking cold. I had layers upon layers of whiskey and clothing. Nothing could warm me up. I was sick for a week after. Probably the coldest I have ever been. I would've been ok with getting shot to be put out of my misery that night.

You probably claim closer than you realized to being shot.

We have more people in the portal than there was homicides this quarter in memphis. That's riveting shit

I guess she couldn't have been that good then.

I don't know which game was colder...the Liberty Bowl against East Carolina or the Cotton Bowl against Oklahoma.

Thought I'd never warm up from those games.

I was at both and neither was even chilly compared to the 1991 Baylor game.

That Liberty Bowl against E. Carolina was brutal. I about had to chip my ass off the seat after the game. Coldest I have ever been.

I was at cotton bowl in 2000 against OU. I was hungover and it was cold af and Trey biddy took my bed and I remember having to sleep on the fucking floor under the vanity because some other drunk person also passed out in our room because I guess they could t find their room.

Capitol one bowl was nice and warm and in a box. I think that tequila makes my clothes fall off guy was next to us.

Went to Liberty bowl and don't remember the year but it was cold af.

We also went to the OU Cotton Bowl.  It was miserable.

I went to the Vegas Bowl. It wasn't the least bit cold but sure sucked.

That's our bowl legacy.
