Quote from: Spiderham on Feb 10, 2024, 10:58 AMThe mountain is named after the Shinall family that owned most of the land.
When they created the neighborhood they wanted a "fancy" French feel to it and changed it to Chenal.

If they wanted a French name, instead of Chenal Mountain, they could have gone with Surrender Monkey Hill.

My favorite saying about the French:

The French will always be there when they need us.

Drove from Jonesboro to Helena and back yesterday with the windows down and the dog in the bed of the truck.

It's still February, right?
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar the first time his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Once authored a post that critics claimed, "Was notaslibro level."

Weather was wonderful in TXK today. Got to HS and it was nice, too, except for that little shower that passed through between 5 and 6 or so...

This was out back after the hail storm. Damn thing came out of nowhere. You cannot view this attachment.

Doc Hogaday

It did. I was out walking the dog and it was as sunny as could be. About the turnaround point it started thundering out of nowhere...then got real cloudy, real fast. We made it back to the house about 2-3 minutes before the bottom fell out.

There's A leaf on the path.  You need to learn to keep your yard clean.

Barton Fink

We're about a month away from lawn season. I'm holding out.

Tacoma area has only had 2 light dustings all winter. That's it. Now rain is an entirely different story.
